Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 1.15%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.15%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 3.49% or 27.60 points to trade at 819.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) added 1.82% or 9.10 points to end at 508.80 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 1.66% or 215.00 points to 13,200.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which fell 2.73% or 25.20 points to trade at 897.80 at the close. Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) declined 2.59% or 13.80 points to end at 518.00 and Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was down 1.83% or 6.20 points to 332.80.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 68 and 22 ended unchanged.

Shares in Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) rose to 52-week highs; rising 3.49% or 27.60 to 819.40. Shares in Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) fell to 5-year lows; falling 1.83% or 6.20 to 332.80.

Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.04% or 0.03 to $82.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.12% or 0.10 to hit $84.17 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.79% or 14.55 to trade at $1,846.35 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.38% to 7.04, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 105.80.
