U.S. stock indexes were trading mostly higher on Wednesday morning ahead of the Federal Reserve’s interest-rate decision and Chair Powell’s comments, while oil prices retreated from 10-month highs and Treasury yields also halted a four-session advance.

On Tuesday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 107 points, or 0.31%, to 34,518, the S&P 500 declined 10 points, or 0.22%, to 4,444, and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 32 points, or 0.23%, to 13,678.
