Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.69%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.69%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 2.49% or 9.90 points to trade at 407.20 at the close. Meanwhile, DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) added 0.61% or 8.00 points to end at 1,318.50 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was down 0.28% or 2.20 points to 773.20 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which fell 2.44% or 65.00 points to trade at 2,603.00 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) declined 2.42% or 16.10 points to end at 650.40 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 2.31% or 3.15 points to 133.10.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 91 to 57 and 16 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.04% or 0.94 to $90.96 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.67% or 0.63 to hit $94.56 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.13% or 2.55 to trade at $1,948.75 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.33% to 6.97, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.05% to 7.45.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 104.76.
