The best performers of the session on the CAC 40 were Stellantis NV (EPA:STLAM), which rose 2.63% or 0.46 points to trade at 17.82 at the close. Meanwhile, Vinci SA (EPA:SGEF) added 1.53% or 1.58 points to end at 105.16 and Credit Agricole SA (EPA:CAGR) was up 1.33% or 0.15 points to 11.45 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Airbus Group SE (EPA:AIR), which fell 2.38% or 3.18 points to trade at 130.48 at the close. Dassault Systemes SE (EPA:DAST) declined 2.02% or 0.74 points to end at 35.63 and Publicis Groupe SA (EPA:PUBP) was down 1.73% or 1.28 points to 72.78.
The top performers on the SBF 120 were SES Imagotag (EPA:SESL) which rose 12.19% to 125.20, Forvia (EPA:FRVIA) which was up 4.20% to settle at 20.11 and Ipsen SA (EPA:IPN) which gained 2.86% to close at 126.00.
The worst performers were Casino Guichard Perrachon SA (EPA:CASP) which was down 5.32% to 2.10 in late trade, Sartorius Stedim Biotech SA (EPA:STDM) which lost 4.22% to settle at 249.80 and Eutelsat Communications SA (EPA:ETL) which was down 2.97% to 5.55 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Paris Stock Exchange by 323 to 187 and 109 ended unchanged.
Shares in Ipsen SA (EPA:IPN) rose to 3-years highs; rising 2.86% or 3.50 to 126.00.
The CAC 40 VIX, which measures the implied volatility of CAC 40 options, was unchanged 0.00% to 18.96 a new 52-week high.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.62% or 12.05 to $1,935.15 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 2.06% or 1.80 to hit $89.09 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract rose 1.69% or 1.53 to trade at $92.17 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.23% to 1.07, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.01% to 0.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.22% at 104.41.
