Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.26%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.26%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which rose 2.96% or 8.00 points to trade at 278.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) added 0.62% or 0.80 points to end at 129.30 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was up 0.57% or 7.20 points to 1,274.80 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 9.39% or 15.60 points to trade at 150.50 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 3.68% or 6.06 points to end at 158.50 and Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was down 3.05% or 16.60 points to 528.20.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 93 to 53 and 19 ended unchanged.

Shares in Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) fell to 3-years lows; falling 3.05% or 16.60 to 528.20.

Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.78% or 1.41 to $80.79 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.39% or 1.16 to hit $84.61 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.30% or 5.70 to trade at $1,922.60 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was unchanged 0.07% to 6.85, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.45.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 103.33.
