Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.55%

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.55% to hit a new 6-months high.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8020), which rose 6.94% or 1.50 points to trade at 23.10 at the close. Meanwhile, The Saudi British Bank (TADAWUL:1060) added 5.28% or 2.10 points to end at 41.85 and United Electronics Company (TADAWUL:4003) was up 4.63% or 3.70 points to 83.60 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130), which fell 5.56% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.17 at the close. Al ELM Information Security Company CJSC (TADAWUL:7203) declined 3.06% or 19.80 points to end at 627.20 and Saudi Ceramic Co. (TADAWUL:2040) was down 2.55% or 0.85 points to 32.45.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 147 to 121 and 15 ended unchanged.

Shares in Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8020) rose to 52-week highs; up 6.94% or 1.50 to 23.10.

Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.64% or 0.48 to $74.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.71% or 0.57 to hit $79.30 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.38% or 7.45 to trade at $1,956.95 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.13% to 4.21, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 99.65.
