Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.38%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.38%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 3.70% or 24.00 points to trade at 672.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) added 2.80% or 5.04 points to end at 184.90 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was up 2.20% or 3.45 points to 160.60 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 2.17% or 2.25 points to trade at 101.50 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) declined 0.65% or 3.40 points to end at 517.20 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was down 0.63% or 1.05 points to 165.10.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 82 to 63 and 20 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.11% or 0.83 to $75.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.69% or 0.55 to hit $79.95 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.20% or 23.25 to trade at $1,960.35 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.99% to 6.70, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.08% at 100.31.
