Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.05%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.05% to hit a new 3-months low.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 3.32% or 20.80 points to trade at 648.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 3.20% or 400.00 points to end at 12,915.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was up 2.84% or 350.00 points to 12,690.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG), which fell 6.62% or 9.55 points to trade at 134.80 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 4.38% or 4.75 points to end at 103.80 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was down 2.56% or 27.20 points to 1,034.60.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 76 to 66 and 24 ended unchanged.

Shares in Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) fell to 52-week lows; losing 6.62% or 9.55 to 134.80.

Crude oil for August delivery was up 2.38% or 1.74 to $74.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 2.09% or 1.62 to hit $79.31 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.34% or 6.65 to trade at $1,937.65 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.12% to 6.78, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.45.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 101.50.
