Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.33%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.33%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which rose 1.50% or 16.20 points to trade at 1,096.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CSE:GMAB) added 1.00% or 26.00 points to end at 2,636.00 and Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was up 0.10% or 0.50 points to 480.80 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 2.66% or 4.88 points to trade at 178.30 at the close. Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) declined 2.49% or 16.00 points to end at 626.60 and Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was down 2.04% or 5.80 points to 277.90.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 100 to 45 and 20 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for August delivery was up 3.08% or 2.15 to $71.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.55% or 0.42 to hit $76.67 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 2.65 to trade at $1,932.15 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was unchanged 0.03% to 6.85, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 102.82.
