Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.14%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.14%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 3.05% or 3.20 points to trade at 108.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) added 2.08% or 10.60 points to end at 520.00 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 2.00% or 11.80 points to 603.20 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which fell 1.41% or 170.00 points to trade at 11,885.00 at the close. AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) declined 1.34% or 160.00 points to end at 11,750.00 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was down 0.88% or 2.80 points to 314.80.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 92 to 55 and 15 ended unchanged.

Shares in Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) fell to 3-years lows; down 0.88% or 2.80 to 314.80.

Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.60% or 0.42 to $69.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.61% or 0.45 to hit $73.79 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.19% or 3.65 to trade at $1,918.55 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.27% to 6.84, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.45.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.34% at 102.89.
