Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.29%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.29% to hit a new 1-month low.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW), which rose 4.39% or 26.00 points to trade at 618.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) added 2.48% or 20.80 points to end at 860.80 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was up 1.47% or 15.50 points to 1,067.50 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 6.63% or 12.78 points to trade at 180.10 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) declined 3.35% or 17.60 points to end at 508.40 and Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was down 2.74% or 17.60 points to 625.60.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 78 to 57 and 23 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.82% or 0.57 to $68.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.67% or 0.50 to hit $73.64 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.42% or 8.15 to trade at $1,931.85 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.65% to 6.84, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.45.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.58% at 102.59.
