Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.07%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.07%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 4.60% or 560.00 points to trade at 12,740.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 3.80% or 460.00 points to end at 12,560.00 and Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) was up 3.72% or 22.00 points to 614.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 2.01% or 13.20 points to trade at 643.00 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) declined 1.39% or 12.00 points to end at 848.60 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was down 1.34% or 2.64 points to 194.40.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 91 to 68 and 11 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for July delivery was up 3.08% or 2.07 to $69.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 3.09% or 2.22 to hit $74.06 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.66% or 12.95 to trade at $1,956.75 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.28% to 6.91, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 102.89.
