Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.64%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.64%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 3.94% or 25.00 points to trade at 659.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) added 2.21% or 6.10 points to end at 282.40 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 0.95% or 5.20 points to 551.60 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb), which fell 3.02% or 10.30 points to trade at 331.00 at the close. Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) declined 2.79% or 14.40 points to end at 501.20 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was down 2.30% or 290.00 points to 12,335.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 72 to 69 and 28 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.01% or 0.01 to $71.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.13% or 0.10 to hit $76.06 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 1.45 to trade at $1,977.15 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.30% to 6.93, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.45.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 103.49.
