At the close in Paris, the CAC 40 declined 0.49%, while the SBF 120 index lost 0.45%.
The best performers of the session on the CAC 40 were Credit Agricole SA (EPA:CAGR), which rose 5.04% or 0.56 points to trade at 11.71 at the close. Meanwhile, Dassault Systemes SE (EPA:DAST) added 1.69% or 0.60 points to end at 36.20 and STMicroelectronics NV (EPA:STMPA) was up 1.31% or 0.51 points to 39.14 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Teleperformance SE (EPA:TEPRF), which fell 2.55% or 4.05 points to trade at 154.95 at the close. Alstom SA (EPA:ALSO) declined 2.41% or 0.57 points to end at 23.08 and ArcelorMittal SA (AS:MT) was down 2.06% or 0.52 points to 24.70.
The top performers on the SBF 120 were Credit Agricole SA (EPA:CAGR) which rose 5.04% to 11.71, Technip Energies BV (EPA:TE) which was up 3.17% to settle at 18.54 and Neoen SA (EPA:NEOEN) which gained 2.79% to close at 27.98.
The worst performers were Casino Guichard Perrachon SA (EPA:CASP) which was down 5.95% to 6.71 in late trade, SES Imagotag (EPA:SESL) which lost 5.07% to settle at 149.80 and Teleperformance SE (EPA:TEPRF) which was down 2.55% to 154.95 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Paris Stock Exchange by 276 to 253 and 87 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for June delivery was down 0.40% or 8.10 to $2,034.80 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June fell 1.28% or 0.94 to hit $72.77 a barrel, while the July Brent oil contract fell 1.05% or 0.81 to trade at $76.63 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.10% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.12% to 0.87.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 101.32.
