Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.42%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.42%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF), which rose 2.92% or 320.00 points to trade at 11,270.00 at the close. Meanwhile, First International Bank of Israel Ltd (TASE:FIBI) added 2.57% or 320.00 points to end at 12,770.00 and Leumi (TASE:LUMI) was up 2.17% or 58.00 points to 2,730.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE), which fell 3.13% or 84.00 points to trade at 2,600.00 at the close. Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) declined 3.05% or 22.40 points to end at 711.00 and Kenon Holdings Ltd (TASE:KEN) was down 1.64% or 167.00 points to 9,993.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 245 to 203 and 47 ended unchanged.

Shares in OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) fell to 52-week lows; down 3.13% or 84.00 to 2,600.00.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.57% or 0.46 to $81.29 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.41% or 0.35 to hit $85.11 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.60% or 12.00 to trade at $2,019.00 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was unchanged 0.05% to 3.65, while EUR/ILS rose 0.28% to 4.00.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.27% at 101.52.
