Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.28%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.28%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which rose 10.20% or 27.00 points to trade at 291.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) added 3.77% or 19.80 points to end at 544.60 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was up 3.60% or 5.55 points to 159.80 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Bavarian Nordic (CSE:BAVA), which fell 3.98% or 7.80 points to trade at 188.30 at the close. Genmab (CSE:GMAB) declined 2.75% or 80.00 points to end at 2,825.00 and Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was down 2.39% or 14.40 points to 587.80.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 80 to 73 and 17 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.68% or 0.55 to $81.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.52% or 0.44 to hit $85.20 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.84% or 16.85 to trade at $2,023.85 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.35% to 6.80, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 101.47.
