Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.16%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.16%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Leumi (TASE:LUMI), which rose 2.81% or 72.00 points to trade at 2,633.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) added 2.79% or 450.00 points to end at 16,560.00 and Bank Hapoalim (TASE:POLI) was up 2.11% or 59.00 points to 2,850.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which fell 10.01% or 346.00 points to trade at 3,110.00 at the close. Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT) declined 1.60% or 100.00 points to end at 6,150.00 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) was down 1.12% or 12.00 points to 1,064.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 263 to 186 and 38 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.63% or 0.52 to $82.43 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.63% or 0.54 to hit $86.63 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.83% or 37.60 to trade at $2,017.70 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.83% to 3.67, while EUR/ILS rose 0.42% to 4.04.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.59% at 101.29.
