At the close in Paris, the CAC 40 lost 0.13%, while the SBF 120 index lost 0.23%.
The best performers of the session on the CAC 40 were Danone SA (EPA:DANO), which rose 4.49% or 2.35 points to trade at 54.66 at the close. Meanwhile, Stellantis NV (EPA:STLAM) added 2.22% or 0.35 points to end at 16.22 and Dassault Systemes SE (EPA:DAST) was up 1.37% or 0.51 points to 37.69 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were WFD Unibail Rodamco NV (AS:URW), which fell 2.26% or 1.32 points to trade at 57.10 at the close. BNP Paribas SA (EPA:BNPP) declined 2.20% or 1.44 points to end at 63.96 and Teleperformance SE (EPA:TEPRF) was down 2.20% or 5.70 points to 253.70.
The top performers on the SBF 120 were Danone SA (EPA:DANO) which rose 4.49% to 54.66, Stellantis NV (EPA:STLAM) which was up 2.22% to settle at 16.22 and Verallia (EPA:VRLA) which gained 1.59% to close at 37.00.
The worst performers were Korian Medica SA (EPA:KORI) which was down 19.86% to 7.64 in late trade, Euronext (EPA:ENX) which lost 7.44% to settle at 71.12 and Casino Guichard Perrachon SA (EPA:CASP) which was down 6.48% to 9.88 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Paris Stock Exchange by 381 to 176 and 73 ended unchanged.
Shares in Korian Medica SA (EPA:KORI) fell to all time lows; losing 19.86% or 1.89 to 7.64.
The CAC 40 VIX, which measures the implied volatility of CAC 40 options, was unchanged 0.00% to 18.96 a new 52-week high.
Gold Futures for April delivery was down 0.02% or 0.40 to $1,842.10 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April fell 2.59% or 1.98 to hit $74.38 a barrel, while the April Brent oil contract fell 2.40% or 1.99 to trade at $81.06 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.16% to 1.06, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.17% to 0.88.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 104.25.
