Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Personal & Household Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.83%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Bavarian Nordic (CSE:BAVA), which rose 6.78% or 15.60 points to trade at 245.60 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 4.33% or 635.00 points to end at 15,290.00 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was up 4.03% or 43.50 points to 1,124.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK), which unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to trade at 489.00 at the close. Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) added 0.26% or 1.30 points to end at 500.00 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was up 0.29% or 1.00 points to 351.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 105 to 48 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.29% or 1.03 to $79.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 1.28% or 1.09 to hit $84.19 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.18% or 3.40 to trade at $1,918.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.09% to 6.87, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.04% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 102.10.
