Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.93%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.93%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which rose 3.06% or 5.90 points to trade at 198.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 2.51% or 22.90 points to end at 936.60 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was up 2.17% or 3.65 points to 171.80 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 2.68% or 18.40 points to trade at 669.10 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 2.18% or 2.30 points to end at 103.20 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was down 2.17% or 24.00 points to 1,080.50.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 81 to 62 and 22 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.40% or 1.10 to $79.49 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.02% or 0.86 to hit $84.89 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.85% or 16.15 to trade at $1,914.95 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.39% to 6.88, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.07% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 102.07.
