Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.51%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.51%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 3.88% or 19.00 points to trade at 509.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) added 2.53% or 12.10 points to end at 490.00 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was up 1.59% or 3.04 points to 194.60 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 4.73% or 31.40 points to trade at 632.60 at the close. DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) declined 3.87% or 43.00 points to end at 1,069.00 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was down 2.59% or 4.25 points to 159.80.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 82 to 67 and 18 ended unchanged.

Shares in Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.53% or 12.10 to 490.00.

Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.83% or 1.33 to $74.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.75% or 1.36 to hit $79.20 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 1.26% or 23.40 to trade at $1,835.60 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.76% to 7.07, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.06% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.88% at 104.94.
