Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.14%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.14%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 1.95% or 9.30 points to trade at 485.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) added 1.49% or 2.96 points to end at 201.20 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 1.48% or 235.00 points to 16,130.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Bavarian Nordic (CSE:BAVA), which fell 4.07% or 8.80 points to trade at 207.40 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 2.87% or 2.56 points to end at 86.60 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was down 0.66% or 5.40 points to 808.60.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 84 to 74 and 15 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.52% or 1.21 to $80.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.54% or 1.30 to hit $85.80 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.34% or 24.15 to trade at $1,828.35 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.14% to 6.98, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 103.84.
