Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.30%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.30%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 1.72% or 250.00 points to trade at 14,760.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 0.91% or 130.00 points to end at 14,480.00 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was up 0.70% or 7.50 points to 1,084.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 7.59% or 12.20 points to trade at 148.50 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 5.46% or 5.12 points to end at 88.70 and Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was down 5.02% or 32.70 points to 619.30.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 99 to 46 and 19 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 2.55% or 1.94 to $74.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 2.87% or 2.33 to hit $78.88 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.62% or 11.05 to trade at $1,798.85 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.27% to 7.02, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 104.36.
