The partnership will allow OmniCar to begin servicing vehicles as an authorized service partner to the manufacturer. The company will perform service, repairs, and warranty on all XPENG sold vehicles in Denmark that can be serviced through OmniCar mobile workshops.
XPENG will begin delivering its first vehicles during the second quarter of 2023. OmniCar will be ready to support their expansion at that time.
Omnicar CEO, Mikkel Kofod Christensen, stated, “We are excited and proud to announce this agreement with XPENG. Not only does it add a new dimension to our service business that increases our total addressable market, but it is also recognition of our brand and what we have been able to build over the past two years.”
Jens Olsen, Director for XPENG Denmark, added, “XPENG has an advantage as a new brand on the market in Denmark to choose freely what it believes is the best solution for its customers. We want to put our customers first and therefore this agreement with OmniCar was an obvious partnership. We are impressed with the market position OmniCar has taken already, as well as the positive customer feedback they receive. We are confident that OmniCar can handle our fleet in Denmark and look forward to a long partnership.”
