Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.63%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.63% to hit a new 1-month high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 3.91% or 595.00 points to trade at 15,820.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 3.56% or 520.00 points to end at 15,140.00 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) was up 1.90% or 7.60 points to 408.10 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 2.81% or 4.65 points to trade at 160.60 at the close. Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) declined 1.75% or 11.00 points to end at 618.70 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was down 1.61% or 6.50 points to 397.90.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 95 to 62 and 11 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.65% or 1.45 to $86.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.23% or 1.15 to hit $92.62 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.26% or 4.35 to trade at $1,640.45 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.85% to 7.53, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.05% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.74% at 111.42.
