Teladoc Reports Q3 Results Beat Amid Higher Fees, Paid Membership

Investing.com — Teladoc reported Wednesday third quarter results that beat analysts’ forecasts as a jump in paid membership and higher fees bolstered results.  

Teladoc (NYSE:TDOC) was up more than 7% in afterhours trading following the report.

The health care company announced loss per share of $0.45 on revenue of $611.4 million. Analysts polled by Investing.com anticipated a loss of $0.57 a share on revenue of $608.8 million.

Access fees revenue grew 20% to $540.1 million and visit fee revenue grew 5% to $65.6 million. 

Average revenue per U.S. paid member increased to $2.61 in the third quarter of 2022, from $2.40 in the third quarter of 2021 as paid membership jumped 10% to 57.8 million. 

Looking ahead, the company guided for a loss of $0.40 to $0.10 a share on revenue of $625 million to $640 million.
