Stocks staged an impressive rally Friday to end the week on hopes the Fed will issue smaller rate hikes starting in December. Amid the bullishness, several rumors made their way across Wall Street. Below we highlight a few:

Twitter (NYSE:TWTR) shares fell 5% on reports the Biden administration is considering reviewing some of Elon Musk’s deals on a national security basis, including his deal to acquire Twitter. The White House later said it was not aware of any national security review for any of Musk’s ventures.

DocuSign (NASDAQ:DOCU) gained 2.5% on renewed rumors an activist is circling the stock. This is the second time since the summer that these rumors were floated.

Veris Residential (NYSE:VRE) gained 23% following an unsolicited proposal from Kushner Companies to externally manage the Company or to acquire the Company for $16.00 per share. One analyst suggested that the offer could bring out other bidders.
