Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.64%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.64%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 0.98% or 7.10 points to trade at 732.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) added 0.30% or 0.22 points to end at 72.40 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was up 0.29% or 8.00 points to 2,727.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which fell 2.35% or 10.20 points to trade at 424.70 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) declined 2.35% or 9.80 points to end at 406.60 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) was down 2.32% or 32.00 points to 1,346.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 93 to 58 and 16 ended unchanged.

Shares in Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) fell to 52-week lows; falling 2.32% or 32.00 to 1,346.00.

Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.71% or 1.49 to $88.80 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.37% or 1.28 to hit $94.45 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.26% or 4.55 to trade at $1,712.85 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.26% to 7.44, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 109.18.
