The $799-and-up iPhone 14 boasts the iPhone’s best battery life yet, a camera upgrade and the company’s new A16 chip — but smartphone rival Samsung had this to say in response: “Let us know when it folds.”
The company tweeted the remark from its official U.S. Twitter account, and the post went viral, drawing more than 1,400 replies and more than 13,000 “likes.” It also led “Samsung” to trend on Twitter on Wednesday afternoon.
Samsung revealed its latest batch of foldable phones last month, emphasizing its own design upgrades, battery improvements and new camera features. The Galaxy Z Flip4 starts at $999.99 and features a “compact clamshell design” with a slimmer hinge than previous models, and glossy metal frames. And Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold4 model, which starts at $1,799.99, includes a new taskbar offering a “layout similar to your PC” that lets users easily switch between apps.

But Samsung has also had its share of bad news lately, warning last week that the personal data of some U.S. customers had been breached.
