Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.23%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.23% to hit a new 1-month low.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which rose 2.41% or 20.00 points to trade at 848.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 2.00% or 1.94 points to end at 99.20 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) was up 1.97% or 29.50 points to 1,530.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 2.74% or 20.50 points to trade at 726.90 at the close. AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) declined 2.42% or 430.00 points to end at 17,360.00 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was down 2.10% or 1.60 points to 74.60.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 74 and 23 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.10% or 1.01 to $90.63 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.38% or 1.35 to hit $96.49 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.24% or 4.10 to trade at $1,732.20 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.47% to 7.39, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.04% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 108.49.
