Electronic Arts Inc. said late Tuesday it is splitting up the chief technology officer role now that CTO Ken Moss is on his way out.
Eight years and five days ago Moss joined EA
EA,
as CTO, and is expected to leave the company around Aug. 12. In a release, EA Chief Executive Andrew Wilson said that Moss decided “now is the right time for him to transition on to new challenges outside of Electronic Arts.”
EA’s current head of development technology and services, Marija Radulovic-Nastic, will become Chief Technology Officer of Creative and Development, “building creative tools and solutions for our game makers and our players,” while Chief Information Security Officer and head of security engineering Matt Thomlinson will become CTO of Enterprise, “leading the foundational tech and infrastructure teams powering our player experiences and live services, our operations, and areas of future technical innovation,” Wilson said.
Both Radulovic-Nastic and Thomlinson will report to Chief Operating Officer Laura Miele, the company said.
EA shares rose 2.5% in the extended session, following a 2.5% gain in the regular session to close at $126.75.
