Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.90%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.90%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 0.34% or 0.24 points to trade at 71.50 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 0.12% or 20.00 points to end at 16,950.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 0.09% or 15.00 points to 17,060.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG), which fell 5.73% or 20.80 points to trade at 342.40 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) declined 3.09% or 14.90 points to end at 467.80 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) was down 2.79% or 45.00 points to 1,566.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 95 to 55 and 18 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for August delivery was down 3.07% or 2.96 to $93.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 2.69% or 2.68 to hit $96.89 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.72% or 29.80 to trade at $1,705.70 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.41% to 7.43, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.73% at 108.54.
