Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.48%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.48% to hit a new 1-month high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 3.49% or 28.10 points to trade at 832.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 1.50% or 12.00 points to end at 811.00 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 1.28% or 6.10 points to 483.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 4.27% or 10.80 points to trade at 242.40 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) declined 3.78% or 3.86 points to end at 98.10 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) was down 2.97% or 10.60 points to 346.30.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 88 to 53 and 25 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.83% or 0.87 to $103.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.36% or 0.39 to hit $106.63 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.27% or 4.65 to trade at $1,737.65 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 1.01% to 7.38, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.05% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.81% at 107.68.
