Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.47%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.47%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG), which rose 1.61% or 2.55 points to trade at 161.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 1.43% or 11.20 points to end at 795.80 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was up 1.35% or 5.80 points to 435.30 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG), which fell 4.18% or 16.60 points to trade at 380.60 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 3.20% or 8.30 points to end at 250.70 and Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was down 2.43% or 19.30 points to 776.10.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 84 to 70 and 17 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.72% or 1.87 to $110.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.77% or 1.98 to hit $113.61 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.30% or 5.35 to trade at $1,806.85 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was unchanged 0.05% to 7.14, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.44.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 104.99.
