Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 1.50%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 1.50%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE), which rose 1.62% or 59.00 points to trade at 3,698.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) added 0.52% or 80.00 points to end at 15,600.00 and Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) was up 0.19% or 50.00 points to 26,310.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which fell 5.15% or 427.00 points to trade at 7,870.00 at the close. Kenon Holdings Ltd (TASE:KEN) declined 5.00% or 980.00 points to end at 18,620.00 and Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE1) was down 3.62% or 151.00 points to 4,026.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 358 to 132 and 31 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was down 3.09% or 3.15 to $98.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 2.81% or 3.00 to hit $103.64 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.15% or 2.90 to trade at $1,924.60 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.49% to 3.23, while EUR/ILS rose 0.52% to 3.53.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 99.54.
