Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 4.18%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 4.18%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb), which rose 19.83% or 454 points to trade at 2744 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) added 7.89% or 54.2 points to end at 741.0 and Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG) was up 7.33% or 30.80 points to 450.80 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 0.41% or 0.5 points to trade at 122.5 at the close. Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) added 0.64% or 3.0 points to end at 473.0 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was up 0.99% or 1.3 points to 133.2.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 110 to 45 and 18 ended unchanged.

Shares in Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) fell to 52-week lows; falling 0.41% or 0.5 to 122.5. Shares in Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) rose to 52-week highs; up 0.99% or 1.3 to 133.2.

Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.46% or 0.41 to $89.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.88% or 0.80 to hit $91.58 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.24% or 4.45 to trade at $1832.35 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.21% to 6.5057, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4422.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 95.430.
