About 333,000 baby pacifiers have been recalled over a possible choking hazard.
A recall statement from the U.S. Consumer Product Saftey Commission says the recall is for Mushie & Co’s “FRIGG silicone pacifiers” that are frequently sold on Amazon
AMZN,
and at TJ Maxx.
The danger as described in the statement is “the base of the silicone nipple has a fine slit that can cause the nipple to detach from the plastic shield, posing a choking hazard.”
“Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled pacifiers,” the statement reads. Mushie and Co have received several incidents reports of the silicone nipple detaching, but no injuries have been reported, the company says.
