Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.32%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.32% to hit a new 1-month high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb), which rose 2.16% or 9.9 points to trade at 469.1 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 2.05% or 360 points to end at 17880 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was up 1.63% or 1.9 points to 118.2 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 2.17% or 4.1 points to trade at 182.3 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) declined 2.03% or 22.0 points to end at 1064.0 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was down 1.34% or 40.0 points to 2945.0.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 83 to 64 and 19 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.61% or 0.51 to $84.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.26% or 0.22 to hit $85.39 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.01% or 18.25 to trade at $1788.55 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.20% to 6.4198, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4391.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 93.987.
