Tesla Inc. Chief Executive Elon Musk tweeted Tuesday that the Silicon Valley electric-car maker will open its fast-charging network to other EVs later this year, and over time the stations will be open in all countries.
The decision garnered mostly accolades from Musk’s fans, but some complained it would add to wait times at some of Tesla’s busier “Superchargers,” Tesla-speak for a fast-charging device clustered in stations often located on main highways.
