Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.46%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.46%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR), which rose 1.76% or 3130 points to trade at 181190 at the close. Meanwhile, Bank Hapoalim (TASE:POLI) added 1.39% or 37 points to end at 2706 and Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) was up 1.25% or 49 points to 3971 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which fell 4.41% or 55 points to trade at 1192 at the close. Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) declined 3.91% or 89 points to end at 2185 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) was down 3.11% or 39 points to 1215.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 238 to 206 and 30 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.02% or 0.01 to $64.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.07% or 0.05 to hit $68.33 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.43% or 7.90 to trade at $1839.20 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.22% to 3.2558, while EUR/ILS rose 0.32% to 3.9617.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 90.060.
