Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.22%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.22%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Nova (TASE:NVMI), which rose 3.21% or 940 points to trade at 30230 at the close. Meanwhile, Perrigo (TASE:PRGO) added 2.50% or 340 points to end at 13920 and OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) was up 2.22% or 30 points to 1381 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Bank Hapoalim (TASE:POLI), which fell 3.42% or 91 points to trade at 2572 at the close. Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) declined 2.28% or 126 points to end at 5401 and Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) was down 1.51% or 55 points to 3594.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 245 to 206 and 25 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.02% or 0.64 to $62.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.84% or 0.56 to hit $66.01 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.78% or 13.85 to trade at $1792.25 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.47% to 3.2635, while EUR/ILS rose 0.44% to 3.9259.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 91.138.
