Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.19%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.19% to hit a new 1-month low.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which rose 1.42% or 13.8 points to trade at 983.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) added 1.13% or 5.8 points to end at 520.0 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was up 0.27% or 0.30 points to 111.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 4.96% or 24.8 points to trade at 474.7 at the close. Genmab (CSE:GMAB) declined 4.80% or 97.0 points to end at 1925.0 and Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was down 3.39% or 8.4 points to 239.5.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 103 to 35 and 19 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for April delivery was up 5.76% or 3.53 to $64.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 5.59% or 3.58 to hit $67.65 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.77% or 13.20 to trade at $1702.60 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.48% to 6.1928, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4363.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.45% at 91.347.
