Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.33%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.33%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Leumi (TASE:LUMI), which rose 2.99% or 61 points to trade at 2103 at the close. Meanwhile, OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) added 2.61% or 40 points to end at 1572 and Bank Hapoalim (TASE:POLI) was up 2.57% or 60 points to 2395 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN), which fell 6.22% or 146 points to trade at 2202 at the close. Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) declined 4.83% or 1090 points to end at 21470 and Matrix (TASE:MTRX) was down 2.54% or 195 points to 7492.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 224 to 222 and 18 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.15% or 0.09 to $60.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.08% or 0.05 to hit $63.64 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.61% or 10.55 to trade at $1733.55 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.11% to 3.2980, while EUR/ILS rose 0.22% to 3.9860.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.30% at 90.767.
