Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.33%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.33% to hit a new 1-month low.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which rose 12.30% or 2380 points to trade at 21730 at the close. Meanwhile, Maytronics (TASE:MTRN) added 4.23% or 223 points to end at 5490 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was up 2.09% or 580 points to 28340 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which fell 6.72% or 2090 points to trade at 29000 at the close. Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) declined 3.73% or 160 points to end at 4135 and Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS) was down 3.66% or 400 points to 10540.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 262 to 177 and 20 ended unchanged.

Shares in Nova (TASE:NVMI) rose to all time highs; up 2.09% or 580 to 28340.

Crude oil for April delivery was down 3.01% or 1.91 to $61.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 2.54% or 1.68 to hit $64.43 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 2.42% or 42.95 to trade at $1732.45 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.44% to 3.3091, while EUR/ILS fell 0.40% to 3.9952.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.90% at 90.947.
