Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.78%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.78% to hit a new all time high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which rose 3.14% or 30.2 points to trade at 991.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 3.10% or 3.4 points to end at 113.1 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 2.25% or 13.8 points to 626.2 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which fell 1.34% or 170 points to trade at 12500 at the close. DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) declined 0.98% or 11.0 points to end at 1110.0 and Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was down 0.52% or 3.0 points to 570.6.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 92 to 44 and 16 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.41% or 0.84 to $60.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.39% or 0.87 to hit $63.30 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.32% or 5.80 to trade at $1817.40 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.01% to 6.1340, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4372.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 90.382.
