Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 1.05%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.05%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which rose 2.96% or 12.9 points to trade at 450.9 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) added 2.17% or 6.6 points to end at 310.9 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was up 1.74% or 6.5 points to 379.9 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb), which fell 4.28% or 104 points to trade at 2326 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) declined 2.06% or 21.0 points to end at 997.0 and Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) was down 1.49% or 9 points to 621.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 72 to 63 and 19 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.81% or 0.99 to $55.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.06% or 0.61 to hit $58.41 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 1.35 to trade at $1834.75 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.26% to 6.1914, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4375.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 91.235.
