Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.53%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.53%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG), which rose 1.59% or 3.2 points to trade at 204.8 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) added 1.33% or 6.3 points to end at 481.6 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was up 1.02% or 9.2 points to 911.2 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which fell 3.76% or 560 points to trade at 14320 at the close. Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) declined 2.15% or 18.5 points to end at 842.0 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was down 1.55% or 5.6 points to 355.1.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 86 to 47 and 18 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.98% or 0.52 to $52.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.96% or 0.54 to hit $55.56 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.79% or 14.65 to trade at $1851.25 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.04% to 6.1099, while EUR/DKK rose 0.07% to 7.4394.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 90.175.
