Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.27%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.27%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which rose 6.46% or 236 points to trade at 3891 at the close. Meanwhile, OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) added 4.46% or 63 points to end at 1476 and Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) was up 2.98% or 620 points to 21400 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which fell 3.90% or 1390 points to trade at 34240 at the close. Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE) declined 2.60% or 119 points to end at 4451 and Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) was down 2.26% or 87 points to 3761.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 224 to 195 and 26 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $52.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 2.80% or 1.58 to hit $54.84 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 1.27% or 23.55 to trade at $1827.85 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 2.73% to 3.2693, while EUR/ILS rose 2.09% to 3.9493.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.62% at 90.778.
