PGGM Investments’s holding in CubeSmart increased to about 11 million shares with the purchase.
PGGM Investments first bought CubeSmart stock in the first quarter of 2018. PGGM Investments also owns Prologis Inc (NYSE:PLD), Healthpeak Properties Inc (NYSE:PEAK), Simon Property Group Inc (NYSE:SPG) and Equity Residential (NYSE:EQR). CubeSmart is its number ten position by number of shares and market value among real estate investment trusts stocks.
Other investors who also added to their CubeSmart shares include California State Teachers Retirement System, Citigroup (NYSE:C), and Cohen & Steers (NYSE:CNS) Inc. Contrary to PGGM Investments, Congress Asset Management, Diamond Hill Capital Management, and Eaton Vance (NYSE:EV) Management reduced CUBE shares, while Squarepoint Ops sold all their CUBE shares.
