Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.39%

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.39% to hit a new 6-months high.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which rose 3.13% or 590 points to trade at 19430 at the close. Meanwhile, Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) added 2.71% or 48 points to end at 1820 and Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) was up 2.66% or 66 points to 2550 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF), which fell 2.43% or 177 points to trade at 7100 at the close. Matrix (TASE:MTRX) declined 0.94% or 68 points to end at 7190 and Maytronics (TASE:MTRN) was down 0.66% or 32 points to 4820.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 278 to 147 and 13 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.90% or 0.42 to $46.15 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.68% or 0.34 to hit $49.63 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.85% or 15.60 to trade at $1828.00 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.16% to 3.2597, while EUR/ILS rose 0.38% to 3.9562.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 90.737.
